Stabiization of DNA at Room Temperature in a liquid format
The aqueous storage reagent permeates cell membranes to stabilize and protect DNA for at least 6 months at room temperature (figure1). DNAgard protects DNA in a variety of tissues and cells (see figures 2 & 3).

Broad range of applications
DNA protected using DNAgard is suitable for use in many downstream applications, including long-range PCR and Real Time PCR

Unique dry-down feature for longer storage at room temperature
For longer storage, samples can be dried down and stored at room temperature for at least 1 year* (*accelerated aging). Dry samples can be easily recovered by simple rehydratation and are ready for DNA extraction. The quality of DNA is preserved by DNAgard, whereas degradation is noticeable if preserved on FTA cards or left unprotected at room temperature (see figure 5).
