- Judy Muller-Cohn, Ph.D., President & CEO
Judy has twelve years of experience in bringing products for the life science industry to market and was involved in the development of numerous biotechnology companies. She was most recently a Director of Business Development at Digital Gene Technologies. Previously, she was a scientist at Mycogen/Dow AgroSciences where she brought basic research to the market. She received her doctorate at the Pasteur Institute in Paris, France. She has authored many papers and patents that paved the road to marketable products.
- Rolf Muller, Ph.D., Chief Scientific Officer
Rolf has ten years of experience in starting biotechnology companies. He was most recently the Director of Assay Development and High Throughput Screening at the Scripps Research Institute. Previously, he was the Director of Molecular Biology at HK Pharmaceuticals and Digital Gene Technologies. He was also a scientist at the Salk Institute. Rolf obtained his doctorate at the Pasteur Institute in Paris, France. He has authored numerous publications and patents.
- James K. Johnson, Vice President of Sales and Marketing (interim)
Jim has over 35 years of Sales and Marketing experience in the biotechnology, diagnostics, and pharmaceutical industries. Most recently he was Vice President of Commercial Operations with Invitrogen. During his time at Invitrogen he primarily focused on the management, growth, and development of the Sales Teams in North and South America. Before Invitrogen, Jim spent 12 years with Boehringer Mannheim Corporation in Indianapolis, Indiana. During his time at Boehringer Mannheim he held successive positions as Vice President of Sales and Vice President of Marketing for the Diabetes Division, where he played a principal role in the successful development of the Self Blood Glucose Monitoring business. His other professional experience includes Sales and Marketing positions at Syntex, Inc. and Alcon Laboratories. Mr. Johnson holds a B.S. in Business Administration from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, California and a Masters Degree in Management from Claremont Graduate School, Claremont, California.
